Become a member

Full membership is open to all EU, EFTA (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland) cities and towns that have democratically elected  their city councils.

Associate membership is open to other organisations (Regional Authorities, Research Institutes, Universities) from EU and EFTA or cities from other European countries. Moreover private companies may also apply for associate membership status.

Membership must be submitted by a written application sent to Q-Cities Coordination Office.

The written application must be filled on the appropriate official application form. Each city/town shall appoint one elected or non elected official representative and up to two technical experts who will attend the meetings without any voting rights and actively participate in the joint tasks, approved by the Network.
All the applications must be authorised by a Municipal Council Decision.
The membership status is granted subject to the approval of the General Assembly.
